If i still want to try this game, how do we solve this issue?
Also, piracy is not stealing as the original was never removed and since most people that pirate games had no intention to buy it anyway so there is no loss in sales either. But in the long run, piracy will bring in more sales from people that found the game they pirated worth the cost.
So far, i have bought every single game i ever pirated that was worth it's price tag to me. Through piracy i have bought games i would never have even bothered to try otherwise.
But Denuvo or a $200 price tag is a hard pass so this game won't be one of them in that case.
But this game is probably going to be DEI hot garbage anyway so i'll most likely won't even waste my bandwidth to pirate it.
If it is, the death of Rockstar will fill me with joy.
And as usual, the pirates will have a better experience.
(When will you ever learn that people don't give a ā„ā„ā„ā„ about your ā„ā„ā„ā„ā„ā„ DRM)
The biggest concern about Denuvo is if their servers go down or the DRM company goes out of business many games using denuvo will be unplayable resulting in mass abandonware.
I have seen games that are over 5 years old still using that broken software called denuvo and its concerning for game preservation.
If Rockstar Games Listens To Anyone, But Their Own
Working Developers...
Listen To The User Base, Listen To The Government, Listen To STEAM,
Or Even Listen To Unreal Engine, Or Even Listen To Cancel Culture At All,
If Rockstar Listens To Anyone, But Their Own Crew Working On The Game??
This Game Will Be A Disaster, ~_~
Long Before Denuvo Is Ever Even Discussed...
Period, ~_~
Mark My Words: Majority Even The CEO Is Leaving This Game,
& If It's True That They Are Leaving Over Disagreements,
& Don't Find Developing The Game Fun Anymore??
Mark My Words Here:
I Will Be In Favor Of The Rockstar Crew, The One's Leaving...
If This Ends Up Becoming The Reality Of GTA6...
You, and many other people I presume, will never buy a game that isn't protected from pirates, whilst I, and many other people I can assure you, will never buy a game not protected from cheaters. That's quite a pickle they're found themselves in isn't it.
As opposed to having Denuvo and costing $100. Looks like they're found themselves between two pickles. Either way, I don't care. None of their revenue will come from me. That's a constant. I'll be entertained enough watching them wiggle.
Despite the Steam forums these days pretty much just all being a mass troll farm for points from attention seekers, virtually all of it is incredibly low effort & low intelligence. Still makes me face palm how many idiots on these forums can't see through super obvious jokes or bait though.
