Current game size is about 114gb-ish.
As for just a storymode type install - nope - not unless you use steamdepot / console to download an old version and run steam in offline mode to prevent updates, use mods to prevent updates, or jump through other hoops to 'prevent updates' to the 50/60?gb version. And that is IF that version will work with the recent versions of social club and R* launcher.
Else, you can go into steam/steamapps/common/gta5/update/x64/dlcpacks and remove the mp* folders for a sizable space reclaim. Some others will simply remove ALL the folders for some more space. Of course, some of those may be required if modding storymode and what not. May also lose some content like newer radio stations. Of course, a future update will want to possibly redownload all of the deleted content again. Then you're back into jumping through hoops to prevent updates, steam offline, appmanifest 'updates' and the like.
It has been a hope they added ability to only install story for years.
..but but 12D textures.. how can they even compress higher dimensional textures.. smh.. need moar space
