Launcher is frozen

Is anyone else having issues with their Rockstar launcher? I have downloaded GTA on steam, the launcher opens and then is just frozen loading for hours. Any advice? I've already tried uninstalling and re-downloading

repair game files, then try reinstalling gta5 if that doesnt work.

just done both the above. :( now im starting to realise something here? NONE of my Rockstar Games now work!!!!! Ive NOT played any of these games since the days of SOCIAL CLUB,i deleted my original 2016 social club the other day because it didnt seem to be attached to GTA5 and GTA4 the two games i cant get to work now im trying red or dead 2 and i have a funny feeling this isnt going to work either,,,yesterday i uninstalled so much stuff One drive Aviva anti virus and other crap...and nothing from rockstar is working....surely ROCKSTar ARE RESPONSIBLE HERE?

The Rockstar Launcher is whats Failing here,it seems to work at first then gets stuck when i go to run the game after its installed the SDK it freezes up! and i have to manually re boot my pc to get out of this mess!

theres Two drives ONEDRIVE and another i forget what its called both are a pain in the butt well i got rid of both of them now any anti virus or apps for watching your FPS/GPU

Have you fixed yours?? im having exactly same problems with the new launchger social club BS as you! Nothing from Rockstar no longer works wtf??all that MONEY ive spent on this software for it not to work now WTF@Rockstar!!!

ive NEVER used MODS with GTA..so its not that ....im an old user i had GTA5 back in 2016 in the OLDE Days...i noticed a 2016 copy of social club on one opf my drives the other day(i have five drives which doesnt help,and GTA5 must of been installed on three of these drives over the years lol)so i uninstalled everything and tried to restart with NO JOY! i deleted 400GB of stuff off my C DRIVE and STILL its not working in fact it feels my PC is now starting to F UP!...its now taking ages to reboot etc and now it even crashes on reboot sometimes and i have to go through BIOS to get into the PC THANKYOU ROCKSTAR LAUNCHER for causing all this mess! at the end of the day the Launcher Failing is whats brought me here!

In the end here im gonna end up ruining everything starting over wiping all and installing windows 11 (losing all my non steam software) which ive never used before and starting again!!!..all this ♥♥♥♥ for ROCKSTAR! well when you no longer own this software and just rent it i guess wtf else can you do!....

You are going to be really disappointed once you go thru all that. I'd go play something else in a heartbeat.

A bit late for that now i also got rid of 400GB worth of Apps/Programs in case it weas them i now know it wasnt! what a utter waste and Mess! All seven of my Rockstar Games NO longer work..what would you do if this happened to you?thats over $500.00 USD and counting not inc any DLC either! This has got to be downright unlawfull?

using an antivirus on a OS that has built in antivirus isnt new, but definitely still silly. The best antivirus is you. Learn what is okay and not okay to click on and/or install on your PC. Most of the glaringly obvious viruses windows catch before it will even start downloading and YOU have to tell windows to bypass the warning. Funny thing is that its usually pretty generious and catches things it doesn't need to. The only way I've ever gotten something that caused me to have to use a paid virus scanner/remover I was truly asking for it and taking a huge risk for something that wouldn't have been worth it for long anyways. But paying or even using a free antivirus is like putting a virus on your computer on purpose. I'm 11 years straight in on using multiple gaming PC's and haven't had a single virus and I emulate, occasionally pirate, go to fishy websites but don't click on any obvious scam links, and still have absolutely ZERO need for an antivirus. And if I somehow get a really intrusive virus that starts popping windows up on my screen and hides the location of the installation of said virus....well I know what program to use now that WILL find it and WILL remove it. SpyHunter is BY FAR the best at finding, classifying, explaining the type of virus, and then giving you options on what to do about it, but it costs money. IT's only ever installed on my pc just long enough to remove such a virus, but like i said, I've learned my lesson and been virus free for over a decade.
