still cant play gta online
Its been about two years and i still cant play gta online because it says it cant load the cloud save data. Ive already reinstalled it does nothing ive cleared the cache ive deleted everything this is a rockstar server problem because it has nothing to do with my game copy. I cant play gta online so i play fivem but i just installed the new gta enhanced version to find out fivem only supports the legacy version now i gotta redownload it just to play fivem because thats the only way i can play multiplayer. I can probably play online if i buy the game again on another steam account because my account is corrupted for whatever reason but i dont wanna do that.

"Your profile data could not be loaded by the rockstar cloud services at this time."

If it worked on another account it could also be because of the new folders / files created in my documents / rockstar games / gtav / profiles / profilename.

If you haven't - I would straight up rename my docs / rockstar games to -old. Then try again. Of course, problems with onedrive interfering, or not being on if you use it, admin/permission issues on the above folders, possible problems with controlled folder access IF enabled, and r* launcher/socialclub/gta5 are not allowed, and more.

Then you get into R*, connectivity, isp, regional, dns, and etc.

I'd try to sign in on a friends computer, or if you have a spare drive to temporarily boot off of and attempt to run the game that way just to try to narrow it down IF it is on your pc, IF you can log in properly on a completely clear/new setup, or if it follows you.

There's lots of things you can test. Similar info here -

/goodluck regardless

edit - I'm glad I had to type all that before you gave actual details. Now we can go back and ask if you still used onedrive on a clean format. If you have infact tested on a friend's pc. Hell, I used to let people remote into MY pc and log in to their stuff to test (yes, I've quit doing that anymore for many reasons -.-). Heck, my documents might not have even been a default location but I digress. Your computer has many things to do with it. Until they've all been flat out eliminated - /shrug.

Again, /goodluck.
Try to help in what 'appears' to be a help post - but is just a rant. My mistake. Carry on.

edit - Your first post suggests 3 things- I suggest the many more. You then state more things you've done, which should've been in the first post - and helps save time (technically, there's even more in your post history if one wanted to spend more time trying to craft responses to help but I digress).

Drop a "Im glad it works for you", "im convinced this is a rockstar server issue" - and then I edit my post. If you want to misinterpret, I can too. 'Joke devs, gamesize (a byproduct of added online content mind you), poor handling of servers, etc - can easily be the start of a rant. If you want to claim upset you can't play and wasted time, I can too.

Sounds like you should make R* fix the problem. https://support.rockstargames.com/ --- especially if you're convinced this is their fault. If you've already 'tried this' - apologies - it also isn't listed anywhere in this thread.

Theoretically, if you are still have enhanced - you can also try 'that online' - since the folders and files would be different. If your data isn't migrated that is clean too. This does still not excuse onedrive, antivirus/security, firewall, or anything between you and R*.

For real, /goodluck. This is nothing about 'arbiting or gatekeeping info'. This is about yet another instance of scant details, giving some more, to be dismissed, repeatedly as having already been done. Ultimately, wasting my time - and a very large reason into why I've massively cut back in attempting to help people. Even IF we give the correct answers, there are zero guarantees they are done correctly. Hence, re-asking. Hence details. Hence, all the things that help narrow things down.

Again, goodluck.

Ive tried everything to fix it its been months and months and people say im just not deleting the right cache file or that i didnt reinstall it ive done all that this is a rockstar game services problem i love the game but the developers are a joke who dont know how to run game servers. Add that to the game now being 110 gigabytes which takes up most of my computer space with the added stuff in legacy version.

Im glad it works for you i have already formatted my whole computer and installed it again it does nothing it doesnt matter what i delete whether its the game or whats in my documents folder im convinced this is a rockstar server issue because my computer should have nothing to do with it.

What im saying is i havent tried buying it on another account yet because i already baught it once and im not gonna let a game companys bad handling of game servers make me buy it again i would rather just buy gta 6 instead of wasting my time with this this is the only account i have but i assume since my account is glitched i would have to do it on another one i formatted my computer and reinstalled so there would be no files to delete.

It is a help post and i answered your question that ive deleted everything in the documents folder. You dont need to sound rude saying its a rant when im asking for help. You dont need to be offended when i respond and tell you ive tried everything. No i dont have onedrive and yes i already answered it is a clean format. No i didnt test it on a friends computer but i dont think it would help anything.

Ive already given "actual details" in my response to you that i deleted my documents folder and did a clean format what more do you want from me?
You dont gotta be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thinking your the arbiter or gate keeper of gta 5 fixes and information. Yea im upset because i cant play gta online and it wont connect its been years and no one says anything that fixes it im not mad at people giving me advice im merely saying ive tried what your already suggesting i blame rockstar if anything because i shouldnt be forced to watch thousands of youtube videos for game fixes that dont fix it.
I would test it on a friends computer like your suggesting but the game is so big it wont fit on his computer i dont have a third computer to test it on.
