Upload Save Game - Accept Online Policies

I’m trying to migrate my save over to the new version but whenever I go to Upload Save Game it tells me to accept the latest Rockstar Online Policies but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do this. It’s driving me insane. Any help?

I'd try going online, or signing into the R* launcher by itself, or some combination of.

And if you don't care about achievements -

Thank you. Unfortunately I am playing on steam deck so I cannot launch online. I assume there is no solution to this which is ridiculous. I’d like to transfer my achievements over.

Could try logging in via friend's pc and see if that triggers it.
Even if on steamdeck, even the attempt alone may trigger it, if you haven't tried.

There is no solution other than to boot into your online character and accept the popup you are presented with, despite rockstar telling you to go to their website they don't provide a way to do it there.

Thank you for this. I selected online from the landing page and it then prompted the policy acceptance before kicking me back out. Looks like this has resolved but unfortunately no way to play online on the steam deck! Thanks again.

I tried to play around the pause menu, and I found my way. You may replicate it too, or may not. YMMV. I've never played GTA Online myself tho. I'm on PC BTW.

Inside the pause menu, click Online. Then choose Crew. It will tell you to accept new policy to see the crews. It tells you to press Enter. Then it will load a website and have two website for the policies reading. Press the arrow key to the box "I have read..." and press enter. Then, continue. I believe there is a button saying continue, press it, it will load, and you done.

Your Gameplay > Pause Menu > Online > Crews > Press "Enter" > Tick "I have read..." > Continue

You can proceed uploading saved games. Hope it works.
