Activation code issues

so I just reinstalled GTA Yesterday and today I was trying to play for a bit BUT for some weird reason its asking for a activation code and when I gave the one Tied to my account it said it was already in use so I don't know what to do can anyone help me please?

also I really wish steam would update these pages to where we can post screenshots.

ok fixed it just do this got to this Directory C:\Users\GegaSonicFan\Documents\Rockstar Games and delete the Social club folder and it should work

i delete the social club folder, and i get the same issue

i had to get into the rockstar launcher thing, then settings, then delete local profile... restarted the pc and it worked.
