Old e-mail deleted and I can't login on Social Club

Hi guys,

long story short. I deleted the old e-mail that was linked to Rockstar Social Club.
Customer service is annoying as f*, i'm trying and trying again to explain them what happened, sending them proofs, etc.

I'm wondering how can I get out of this situation: asking Steam to remove GTA V from my library so I can buy it again and link to an existing e-mail can be a good idea?

Per reports to me about this issue over the last 6 months - steam isn't removing the game/keys and will refer you to contact R*. Of course - YMMV here. If you attempt to remove the game yourself via steam available options - it is just a more thorough 'hide', it won't let you rebuy, and you'll get/have the same cd key regardless.

Managing to get through R* support is the only option (if you ignore 'not playing'). There are some that buy it again on a new steam account. And/or, do that - and jump through more hoops to get that second key on their 'main' steam account. And, can potentially cause the same/more issues in the future if you need again to recover with R*, and now your purchase and use accounts don't match / look shady, etc etc.

I'd stick it out with hammering support, until you find 'someone' competent - or you manage to hit 3 in a row on the cupport slots and get it fixed in a few minutes.

tl;dr/lazy - use this link below to contact R* without logging in to RECOVER the already linked social club account/fix/change email to one you have access to. Many hoops to jump to prove you're the owner, have steam account, cdkey etc, and roll the dice on help-

you want to give them more money after they give you such a hassle? they deleted my level 300 character cause some hacker was dropping cash on the lobby years ago and I swore off ever giving them any more money lol

I've got the exact same problem due to forgetting the password on a throwaway email linked I registered to Rockstar. My thought is loose a little game progress and rebuy GTAV during a sale, using a newly created steam account. Major pita, but it seems better than spending hours on telephone with Rockstar for the slight chance they can actually discard the rmail account from being linked to my current (main) steam account.
