Feel free to check out GTA Online YouTubers as they've shown various ways on how to beat it easily.
I remember taking over 8 hours to finish it on my very first attempt of trying to go at it blind until I followed most of their advice.

So if you do trigger it accidentally, don't give up if you already have the objective.

the best advice I can recommend for this heist in general is simply do not kill/KO anyone.. a single body is all that is needed to alert guards..
You don't need to kill more than 3 guards do you know about the drainage channel?
study the image in this post, tells you which guards you can kill and where to kill them
