All this just shows R*'s corporate greed, and dominance. Buying out the competition. Now, nowhere is safe. FiveM is going to go to hell, and R* will not care. Oh I know what R* will do! Raise the price of GTA+, and when you subscribe, you get access to FiveM. Again, milking!

Rockstar will ruin it. They refuse to take any action against modders in the regular game, whatever they do to fivem it is safe to assume it will be flooded with cheaters. I assume they will lock it behind a gta+ paywall in order to play it, while still refusing to fix the cheater problem.

hmmmm, given cockstars pisspoor track record of their games, i do not think they bought CFX dot RE to do improvements, i have this feeling that they will limit or lock it down :c

Get ready for GTA6 RP on consoles.
For this, you only need GTA++, 10 bucks per month; it's cheap, it's to pay dedicated servers.
There will be 1 mod made by R*, other will be banned.

So 70 bucks for the game
GTA++ for 5 years -> +600
Some sharkcards because why not -> +300
Total cost = 1k€.
Then servers are closed and you lose everything.

If they order a C&D on any and all mods on FiveM, along with claiming any and all mods as their own without giving mod authors credit, they better be ready for a massive backlash and lawsuits filed against them.
