if u are confused, this is the link, create a new account first https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/200013306?step=c61ec1a8
Don't want to accuse nobody but in the dark corners of the Internet where modmenus and modders are there are talks of it that some certain menu has infected thousands of pcs and details have been taken not just rockstar password etc.
.
Could also be you played from a random pc and it had malware already or a friend see your details or some people have bought money recoveries and the same thing has happened then also.
.
Just contact rockstar online support, the wait times are up to 10 minutes and your issue will be resolved pretty quick if you pass the security related questions about your Rockstar and steam account.
Best of luck in recovering the acc and talking to your friend.

In your case, if the time your friend borrowed it was 'limited' you could check your emails for the recovery email - and undo the change yourself. YMMV obviously.....
(info also in the links)
edit: Months later - why not post the typical info/response here too -

tl;dr/lazy - use this link below to contact R* without logging in to RECOVER your account/fix/change email to one you have access to. Yep, many hoops to jump to prove you are the owner, have the steam account, cdkey etc, and days to wait/repeat yourself. They may even ask about shark card purchases or account link days as a form of verification - remember if you got one in a 'combo' when you got the game. It could likely count 'on their end'.

Don't unlink, contact R*, fix the email/recover the account.

If I where you I would change your steam password and secure other accounts ASAP to avoid even more stuff being tsken/changed.
I am reminded of 2008 when me and some friends were pretty hardcore into World of Warcraft... we had "that one friend" who swapped accounts with randos so they could try different max level, reasonably geared characters in PVP without the level up grind.
By 2010 that one friend had access to none of the accounts, no characters, and I had a max level of at least half the classes.
Still have that account with all available classes maxed up to whenever the hell it was when I stopped playing.
Moral of the story: Friends should have boundaries and accounts and passwords are personal.
