Do cars have gas tanks like in gta san andreas?

All in the title I guess. So far I didnt find a gas tank to instantly blow up the car (so far only the motor in the front, no clue for motorcicles yet)

No, no gas tanks you can blow up.
The best way to blow up a vehicle is to pick it up with the cargobob then drop it from really high onto its roof. The second is explosives. Then heavy damage to the engine.

They do have a gas tank, but it wont cause the car to explode unless you make a hole in it, by shooting a special spot which is often hard to hit. Then shoot the gas on the ground, and that sets it on fire, exploding it shortly after. If you dont shoot the gas, the car "runs out of gas" later on after a while, since the gas was emptied.

i find that a heavy sniper round into the back left wheel arch works, but its a bit dodgy in the fact that it seems to be a very small target area or its not the same for all vehicles but that would be my guess

Shoot it in the engine if you don't have access do explosives. It's not always located in the front.

Shoot just above the rear driverside tire. Blow em up quick, especially with ap pistol.

Yeah but I wanted gas tank coz a bullet is cheaper than a rocket (and I only have homing launcher)
