working to fix windows 10 problem

i just got responces from rockstar that their working to fix the problem of gta 5 not working or working well on windows 10

i can confirm, i did clean windows 10 installation. still issue is exists.

Try running as administrator. Go to "...steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V", right click on 'GTAVLauncher.exe', then 'properties', then click open ''compatibility' tab, then check the box "Run this program as an administrator" and then click "OK". It works for me.

I haven't gotten many issues with Win 10 and GTA 5 except for the disappearing textures glitch

A good solution for now until rockstar works on an update.

corrupted files? I reinstalled the game? what can be corrupt? the OS files? oh also, is there a significant difference with windows 10?

Your Windows must be corrput. A virus that destroyed some files or something else. NExt time do a clean install. And for the difference use google ;)

such a lie. you idiots need to realize any mordern game that runs on windows xp will run on 7, 8, 8.1, 10 no problem. it's compatibility modes...if you truly are having issues with an old ass game USE IT!....with that being said ive been using windows 10 for over 2 months now (insider) and ALL of my 465 games worked perfectly fine if not better on 10. cheers!

for texture loading issue, try to verify game files and see. i did and played about 3 hours with no issues

That isn't true. I'm running the game fine. If it was outright not supported, it wouldn't be working for me.

I believe Rockstar will send a patch if a lot of users are having issues with the new O.S soon.

It could need a patch or some of the people who are having issues did an upgrade which never works right. Clean install is the only way to make sure everything will work properly. I have never done an upgrade on my gaming PC and have yet to run into any issues.

In fact I did a clean install of 10 Pro and I even have drivers that were designed for Windows 8, not even 8.1 certified, running on 10 without any issues.

i was having serious pop in issues with windows 8.1. the game was practically unplayable, not to mention the online didn't work at all. now with windows 10 i'm pulling 70+ fps all max except aa and i can finally enjoy my time in this game. i did a fresh install and it fixed everything. anyone having issues might want to consider backing up all your files & doing a clean install.
