It's changing every week. First it was the Prison Break, then it was the Humane Labs Raid, now it's Series-A Funding. Think about what comes next. The Pacific Standard Job, $52,000 every setup on hard...$2,500,000 on the finale on hard. I have a few friends who are willing to do heists for free, so I've been having them host it and give me all of their cut. I've made $7,000,000 off of the Humane Labs Raid within 3 days, and I did the Criminal Mastermind challenge the other day with said friends. There's zero reason to be modding money in at this point.
My guess is R* took a look at what they could do to counter the situation, and are trying to give people incentive, if anything the means, to make cash easier so it isn't so much of a grind.
Hopefully they keep cycling sets of missions/heists week by week, it would seem odd to start and then stop after just one run through.
