Meth lab not working

So i brought the meth lab i got full supplies by stealing i was playing for about idk 6 hours lol and my product had not even went up and my supplies went down about half a little bar. So i log off and the next day i check my meth lab and i have a little bit of product and no supplies. So this time i brought supplies with money. After 4 hours of playing i check the lab again and i have full supplies but this time no product.

Now when im playing for hours on hours of HOURS my supplies hardly move and i dont make any product. I asked a friend if he knows what to do and he said sell any product you have shut down the meth lab fully quit gta 5 restart the pc and then go back into the game and start the lab over again. So i did that.... I have waited hours and hours and like before i'm still not making any product and every 2 hours only a little of my supplies goes away but no product.

So if anyone knows what to do that would be great. I have spent so much times trying to get the money for the meth lab and it would suck if i just wasted all this time for nothing. Is there any point in getting the bunker because the bunker might end up having the same issue!

im not sure if the time online during missions is accounted for side businesses. meaning you have to stand in the open world and play i see alot of people afk or just flying around im assuming its so resources can build. in the night club this is how the technicians gather inventory for you so im assuming thats the same for a meth business. i set mine up and wasted money buying stock because im lazy and it only made 2/5 bars and i had spent 75k so buy that logic i woulda spent 225k on supplies and earned like a measely 60k or whatever a full bar of meth was worth (2/5 was like 25k if i remember correct) i dont see those as profitable i use it for my night club with the other business i own. you mentioned a bunker yes its very important to do research so you can unlock better guns and scopes like like about 50 research products or so id guess and many are very useful like armor piercing ammo and thermal scope as well as mark 2 weapons and cool paints. those are added though any vehicle that has a weapons workshop (terrorbyte/mobile operations center,avenger)and the paints for cars are done in mobile operation center with a vehicle workshop. theres tons of stuff in this game to unlock id personal try to get a bunker and night club going if i was you and work on the side businesses to earn money like THAT instead of with a bugged out meth house. as long as its up and running and youve sold supplies at least once the business is viable for night club technicians. thats ANY business business battle supplies/ceo products/weed farm/coacaine lockup/bunker(guns)/fake cash house/meth house can all net you more supplies to sell. as for you glitched mth house i dont know sorry dude try playing in the open world like i mentioned but if you need help making more money i can give you more advice i have all money making property in its most basic form nothing fancy here but it earns. still trying to get a weed farm and a final techinician for my night club but i spent alot of money upgrading my sniper rifle and combat mg add me if ya wanna play i try to play every day

Thanks for such a big reply :) i figured out the issue. Apparently it just takes like a million hours to even get a little bit of product when its a stop meth lab, so i upgraded it just a little so it has more workers, and now im making the money. 100% going to invest in maze bank office or bunker tho

nice man like i mentioned if you can play online alot a nightclub would be a great way to earn money it just takes forever to get everything set up. i used to just grind gerald missions over and over until i had enough to get things rolling now i make money easy once you get a high level and some good guns people dont kick you from heist so you can complete high paying job

It helps if you have upgrades since that speeds up the process. Also when you log off you do not generate product only when you're online.
