Very frustrating Prison Break heist glitch (wanted stars level won't disappear)

That's the second time I get this glitch that the airplane with pilot/prisoner/guard simply cannot evade the police...the helis just come around forever. We played like 30 minutes and it was very frustrating...the demolition just kept destroying all helis but they keep coming!!!

On the first occurrence of the glitch, previous playing, I was the demolition guy and on my radar it was everything ok, no police, no stars at all. But the plane players reported being chased and we couldn't finish this one either...

Man...it's already frustrating sharing online GTA with those little piece of ♥♥♥♥♥, scumbag ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CHEATERs...now I have to deal with this heist very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating glitch?? this is sooo annoying.

Some ppl reported that flying over Zancudo could help out...does anyone tried anything that worked?

I did this heist about 30 times as pilot and had the glitch several times. An easy way to get rid of it is to fly close to the streets of Los Santos so that the police can detect you. You have to do this over Los Santos (so you're far enough away from the prison).

Once you're sure that at least one cop on the ground has spotted you almost giving him a new haircut, fly back up to medium height and head towards the border of the map.

The wanted level will eventually flicker a few times and come back right after the cops have lost vision on you, but it will permanently dissapear after doing that 3-4 times.

So far this is the only reliable way i've found to shake the cops.

happens sometimes in vehicles when theres more than one person in it. i think this glitch is called "infinity cop glitch". the only reliable way of solving it is to get everyone out of the vehicle. theres just one problem in this heist you cant get out of the plane as far as i know. all you can do is fly low over los santos so a real cop sees you and then avoid cops again hoping it fixed the glitch.

the problem is the pilot has slowest internet, this caused "infinite wanted" glitch

so the best way to solve this is choose the pilot with the fastest internet / or the one live near the host.

or the host become the pilot

If anyone is still searching for a reliable solution, here it is:

I was a host AND a pilot, so yea, ^that doesnt work. But what worked for me was doing THIS step by step:

a) Fly through an objective hole
b) Go back to the Sandy Shores airfield/airstrip
c) Land for a second or two (you dont have to stop)
d) Take off, wanted stars start flashing again after a while
e) Evade the police OVER the Sandy Shores area
d) You're done, you should be able to finish the mission now.

Had to do it 2 times because I went too fast for the objective hole and didn't lose the cops over the land, so yeah.

Bought this game on 2018 Winter Sale and I'm really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ surprised that it's such and old bug and it still hasn't been fixed yet. Jesus Christ, AAA development, amirite?

some of you guys (players) have veeeeery slow internet and because of him you will NEVER avoid wanted level. Somehow I figured out you can avoid wanted level faster if you flying somewhere downstairs as circling by checkpoint.

I’ve seen this glitch quite a bit when I was doing criminal mastermind, my group fixed it by flying very close to the ground and for whatever reason that helped us lose the stars.

It's year 2019, I shaved all police officers in Los Santos and I can assure you that they still come more for the shave. :(

It's a bug due to connection problems between players, happens almost everytime when I'm in asians' vehicle. Getting out and in works but it won't work on prison break as you cannot get out.
