You're not telling us anything. The motherboard should be of least concern. The graphics card is the most important (for this game), followed by the CPU.

if you have an acer aspire series desktop you can forget about even running gta 5 with high settings.

This

Also the amount of RAM. If you only have 2GB of memory game won't even launch.

That makes much more sense, though I'm afraid I don't know. I bought a high-end motherboard and never really paid much attention to it since.

If you're going to be buying new cpu, gpu, and RAM, why not just buy a newer motherboard? You can pick up a mobo that uses DDR3 and recent gen cpus fairly cheap.

Any specific ones? I want your opinion, what should I get exactly?

Not sure if you're a troll or just new, but you should do some serious research on pcpartpicker and sites like it. It seems you are way out of your element and should probably just buy a new prebuilt pc.

try {LINK REMOVED} or {LINK REMOVED} .

Avoid AMD CPU/GPU if you can.

If iam not mistaken your board has a 775 Socket. Maximum you can run on this is an Intel Pentium Dual Core.

That wont be enough for this game.

If it's a GTX 740, yes. If it's a GT 740, no.

A dual core isn't enough to run this game by far. I would get an i5 or an i7.
