I will say 1 Thing!!! If you havn't upgraded to WIndows 8.1, Then Do It Already!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Windows 8.1 has Superior Performance Since CoD Ghost and BF4 and will continue to Especially For GTA V, Directx 11.1 Does make a difference and if you can utilize Directx 11.2 then you better have WIndows 8.1 lol. GAME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad Ghosts and BF4 are horrible examples for "Good" games.

Honestly the entire gaming industry has only done 32 bit coding since Forever, so being that Native x64 bit coding is still Super New to game Developers, as the game have to be coded Per Core and coded for hyperthread which is an insane amount of work.SO for the time being it will continue to be trial and error lol, BF4 was on the forfront of trial and error as we did not expect much from CoD Ghost Multiplayer but the Campaign was Great and looked spectaculor imho. Practice makes perfect and as new x64 games are released from wach caompany they will run better and better (Except for Watch Dogs, what the hell was that lol).
