GTA V can't access elevator.

I am on the Franklin Construction Assassination mission which at one point I need to use the elevator to go up to the building.
When I am beside the Elevator switch, it did not respond when I hit E. ( I didn't change any key config)
It doesn't even show the tips ( The one that always tell us what to do on the upper left corner)
But when I go in the ESC > Brief> Tips, it show me ask me to hit E to activate the switch.
Can anyone help with this?
It also happen when I try to go shooting range. ( When the Tips show up, I can enter the Shooting Range, but when it did not show up, no matter how I hit E, I just cant go in.)

You have to be standing outside of the lift and then press E when it tells you too and you call the lift down and Franklin automatically gets in it.

It is not just the elevator. Most of the stuff that need to use E to activate will let me stuck there. For the elevator, I spamming E from outside to inside of the elevator and it just don't work.

Hey, I know its been a long time but were you able to fix it? Im having the same problem as you, even at the gunrange.

well i just keep restarting until it is able to use the E

I tried so many times. LOL. There is one time when I went into the elevator, there is a hint telling me to press E and it worked. But there is a second elevator. The hint didnt show up for that one when I went in and I press E, it doesnt work.
