Game won't even launch

Been trying this for 6 hours now. Not even joking. Tried everything. When clicking "play" through steam it goes to "stop" for a split second then back to "play" again. The launcher doesn't even pop up. Tried reinstalling Social club stuff, r* launcher stuff, all of it. If you have any info on how to fix this I'd be so grateful. Thanks.

Same thing is happening to me. I validated the files and logged into rockstar social on the web re downloaded RS Launcher. Still go to launch and just get a black screen that says "not responding" in windows

Op friended, chatted, did some info gathering (rockstar launcher crashing on ntdll.dll), some tests, ended up having to tv for some eyes on. Did some more cleaning/tests - sfc /scannow and aio vcredists clean/reinstall - up and working. My usual link/what was used-

Read what the original post is about. That is what requires the fix. This is why we tell people to create their own threads, so the solutions given are catered to their issues. Not what this thread it turning into - a pile of extra suggestions for other problems that will not cure the original problem posted first. I know - I fixed it already (multiple times).

Hey guys, Its working for me now. Here is what I did. First restarted the computer, then uninstalled my 5m (even though i never use it i figured it may have been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the files) then I went and validated my gta files..(did nothing) then I reinstalled gta (took like 4 hours). I then went to RS website and signed in my social club on the web from my computer i play on. Then tried gta and everything is right in the world. I dont know if this will fix it for you, fair enough its a long fix but it worked for me. Hope this helps.

The game doesn't launch because Script Hook V was outdated due to new update of version 2372. You can either wait until Script Hook V/RPH is updated or delete it and dinput8.dll. You will then be able to play online or offline without mods. Or if you don't have any mod, try to validate the files, reinstall RG Launcher or reinstall the whole game if the game still doesn't launch after trying out all above methods.

What you mean ''Validate'' files? How to dot that? Just can you add my to friends and describe how to fix, thanks<3

It's verify cache. Rightclick gtav, properties, local files tab, verify integrity of game files. If there are mods - that doesn't remove them. And, neither the op, and others were using mods according to their posts. They had a different issue. Regardless, info to remove the mods was also in the given link but I digress.

Well, i verified like this for 3-5 times for today already, but nothing happened. Just appear green button ''Loading'' after this happening nothing. I can click ''Play'' again

That is because verify cache doesn't always fix this (rarely).
What I use to fix what you are describing is in the link I previously posted.

I can play only sotry mode. Online is dead. I got a notiffication which says that Social Club is not reponding.

I have try anything, except reinstallin the whole game. I try to change vpn, verify integrition, reinstall Launcher, update drive, check connection, etc.

So, should I reinstall the game? Should this fix the problem?

(and 1 I've offered to tv / fix it myself since you cba'd)
