amd chs shadow=fps killer?

is it me or is this an pretty bad fps killer even on a amd card?

in the forrest next to paledo bay i got like 50fps. i switched to sharp shadows and it goes up to 70

settings everything on high 1080p@60fps

Well, Sharp shadows is the lowest shadow setting and give lowest fps hit. IDK why many ppl think they're "better" than Softest. AMD and Nvidia shadows give the biggest fps hit because they're made to look best of all settings so yeah, that's normal.
