Single player only with NO SOCIAL CLUB?
I don't want to play online. I only want to play single player. Rockstar says on their FAQ that you do not need a social club account to play.
However, when steam launches the game, it gives me the social club login, and no opportunity to skip it.
How do I play single player with no social club at all?

Well a social club account IS required, you cannot activate the game without one. You can play completely offline though.

Right click the game in Steam and click "Properties"
Then click the "set launch options..." button.
In the box type -scOfflineOnly
Then when you run the game Social Club will launch in offline mode.

Every so often you will need to go online though as there is a periodic "entitlement verification" where you have to check in to verify your game is legit.

Talk about a necropost. Frankly, I just didn't bother to play and went on.

it's not the end of the world. just make an account (only takes 10 minutes or less) and enjoy

Some people don't want to give out their emails and have a bunch of accounts scrub their steam data. Because that's what it's doing. Some people value this sort of stuff.

On that note, there's a launcher called No GTAVLauncher 2.0 that let's you play the game. I'm playing for the first time all these years later. I paid my fee, I owe rockstar nothing more. Rockstar can go suck a bag of cоcks.

The recent changes of GTAVLauncher make it impossible [as far as I know] to use 'No GTAVLauncher' - it keeps asking for you to login to social club but always gives an error at the end and force you to quit the game - even if you enter the data correctly.
I think the new GTAVLauncher [10/04/19] only recognizes the sc info after checking with their servers, always forcing you to be online when starting the game.
This is unnecessary and seems like a glitch of the new GTAVLauncher.
