GTA 5 and steering wheel support working!!!

Well like some people who play the GTA series and have figured out how to get the Logitech or any other brand of wheel to work. Then purchase GTA 5 and have the same problem is something that I hope I could fix, as I do enjoy driving and GTA 5 does require driving. Plus there's nothing more fun the pulling up next to someone and pressing both mouse keys to flip them off and when they start talking crap shooting them with my glock, and driving off. Or just driving and listening to the radio, which seems more natural using a steering wheel and pedals, instead of a keyboard, or game controller.

I checked and like most found this program x360ce_x, which is an emulator for the Xbox 360 controller. / So I down loaded the 64 bit (they offer both 32 and 64) depending on the game you are running. As the file is on GitHub https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce I felt safe getting it there. Norton ( or your anti virus ) will want to stop you from install it, but just click ok. I place it in the GTA 5 steam folder. Then right clicked on the exe and ran as an administrator. It updated its data base from the internet and then opened up. I picked the default setup for a Logitech G27 saved it and closed the program. I then opened the Logitech profiler and setup a GTA 5 profile. Click on select a game and pick GTA 5. Then edit from tile bar and then specific game setting. Check the first, second, third, and fifth boxes on the left side going down. Then start GTA 5. As for shooting from vehicle, that’s easy as in real life. I drive with my right hand (or left if you prefer) and using the mouse aim (right mouse button) shoot with left mouse button. You can assign buttons and shifter or paddles in the keyboard binding. It works great and allows those of us who LIKE to use a steering wheel i.e. (everyone not playing on a Xbox .ps4) to have fun and play GTA 5 like we want to. I'm also setting up a Joystick for flying as x360 ce_x supports up to four controllers.
So it’s easy 1. Download either 32 or 64 bit depends on game being 32 or 64 bit.
2. Extract to GTA5 folder. 3. Click on x360ce_x.exe and setup just like I said FIRST!!! Don’t check any boxes. Just default setting first. The try GTA 5 if everything works well the try checking force feedback and other things. Me I just let it plan and wheel works great not problem with lag, dead zones. This will work it you keep it simple and following the instructions. If you get an error when saving file, open the x360 ce_x file folder and set the security permission for you (your pc name) to allow for everything and close the security tab. You will have to do this for all three files.
