It's definitely kinks with the new anti cheat

what if now they made the game with one host like the first to be in game and he cheats and get kicked out its gonna close the session maybe thats what happening which if its the case is very stupid from them to do it that way....game gonna be unplayble now

No I don't have any mods. And I believe if Battleye detects mods on your pc the message is "untrusted game files" or something of that nature

Basically forget that BattleEye was ever gassed up as an "anti-cheat." That's a lie. What this and EAC are actually made to do is prevent you from being in the same lobby as a client that isn't running the same protection.

Since the game is P2P, as soon as a cheater becomes the host of a session everyone gets kicked from that lobby with no warning instead of, you know, something that actually makes sense and lets you continue to play the game. You will only last 6 minutes in the average lobby before you get kicked through no fault of your own, have fun accomplishing anything

tl;dr Rockstar letting PC be a complete nightmare as usual. The only winning move is to install a mod menu too now that I think of it. Also there are complete ******s who will gaslight you calling you a modder for experiencing this, this community is doomed.
