ass anticheat ruining the game

ive been playing gtao on my ps4 for 5 years but i have sold it and got a pc, and the gtao is ass on pc, the anticheat wont install and i cant get to any lobby in gtao, private, inv only, crew lobby, nothing works, if any one got a fix please help of sick of this ♥♥♥♥

Try to start game trough launcher , go settings and see is it BE checked .

tried it, BE is checked, still no fix

Try this :
Left up corner Steam / Settings / Downloads / Clear cache
Than in library right click on GTA V / properties / Installed files / Verify integrity of game files .

Anti cheat not installing... . how do we know this? Is it giving you a specific error starting? Going online? When you run the game do you see both gta5.exe and gta5_be.exe running?

Does windows services show a battleye? Have you tried running gta5_be.exe from the game folder? As rightclick/admin? Any antivirus/security apps interesting with this process?
Checked BE in launcher? NOT using -nobattleye? Verified game files?

Many ways for this to be going sideways.

edit - Per your error below, some others have mentioned problems with vpn, dns (can try changing that), possibly modem/router - just power cycle it. If you've hard set dns in windows can try automatic. Others stating windows updates 'worked' (likely just fixed issues the OS was having), and of course - allowing it through the firewall. Though, chances are you've already seen some/all of this if you googled that error itself.

If that does't help
Right click GTA V in library / properties / Installed files / Browse... / Find GTA5_BE.exe double click .
You can also try to run as administrator that file if its fail on first try.

when the game gets started the BE install window does cone up, it wont install and it says that installing failed try checking your internet/firewall, and there are some numbers and it goes like this ( 1, 28), thats it nothing else.

It shoud install without issue,if it doesnt, then its on you and your pc. Keep pretending its not though if it makes you feel any better :)

In case if you have firewall /anti virus / browsers set on agressive mode , set them on medium all .
Maybe you should reset router and leave it on default until you install BE .
Or find solution on YT how to set firewall in windows .
