cant get online for the life of me

ok lets get one thing straight first, i play gta on ps4 but im posting it here because i have been trying to fiqure it out all day, for the last 3 days, yet cannot find the answer on my own, or anywere else and rockstar hasnt responded to me as of yet so im hoping that atleast one person knows a fix

so i bought gta 3 days ago for the sole purpose of playing online with friends. the first day i tried to go online and got a "rockstar services are unavalible" note, but i didnt think much of it so i played single player for a while and went to bed

second day the same thing happend so i went to investigate. rockstar has a post on their website that lists maby 4-5 things that could fix it, i tried them all with no succes including opening ports from my internet. (dont really know what that means but i did it and still no progress)

my last three ideas were to try going online from the main menu, (didnt work) try deleting the game and reinstalling (still didnt work) and then try having a friend invite me, which then i got a new message "rockstar cloud services are unavalible"

once again i apoligise for posting this on a steam forum but any help would be greatly apretiated

also some more notes if it will help anyone
my internet is wireless and is fine on all other games i play
i have verison
i bought the digital edition (its not a disc scratch or anything)

well i have a social club acount, and it is connected to my psn. but when i click the "character transfer" button absolutly nothing happens and when i click gallery (it says i need to sign in to use it) is says the social club is not avalible

also the playstation store tab when u pause it, is also "unavalible"

Use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as shown in the video, that's google.

Can you see a way to set it in your router?

if u mean to put the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 somewhere in my router setting then no i dont see it anywhere

there is a DNS server button but it doesnt let me put anything in it like that

ok so for pimary and secondary i put in the 8.8.8.8 ect, not what it tells me? and then do i also put that in for my ps4?

Primary should be 8.8.8.8
Secondary should be 8.8.4.4

...to use google.

I would also set that in the PS4 too.

Once done, I would power down both the PS4 and the router. Leave it for a min, then boot them back up. Then, I would double check the settings to make sure they have held.

Well....crap...it's possible there is still an entry in a DNS cache but I would have thought that process would clear it.
