They should be able to tell you if a mission is full before you load away from the free mode so you don't have to reload all over again. Or if you get kicked out because people think you are too low level for what they are looking for or something even though you are in the 30s so show you know what you are doing, you have to load all over again. I realized pretty quickly not to accept any jobs that are in when you come in or rejoin a session after completing another job as they are typically full and outdated.
Even with these problems I have a lot of fun.
"How about, load me directly into the garage in my last car instead?"
IIRC, there is an option in the menu to change where you start. On console it was the back button menu, don't remember the button for PC bc haven't played for a while.
Maybe in GTA VI we'll be able to check our bloody ping.
Storage system read speeds have zero bearing on how fast or llong it takes when connecting to a network/service online.
Accept an invitation to a heist like you said, it says it is full of players, would you like to join a queue. Whether you say yes or no, it has to load the whole game again to get back to freemode. And yet, if you make it to the lobby and the host kicks you, no loading and you are straight to freemode, so this has to be a bug.
I said yes to join a queue, then joined another lobby. A few minutes later, it says there is a slot in the session I am queued for, would I like to join? I say no, it asks me if I'm sure, I say yes and it kicks me out of the lobby I am in.
Very annoying that one player leaving aborts the whole heist. I don't know why it can't just put everyone on pause while it gets another player to take over that role, and that player gets the RP and cash as if they had done the whole thing.
Use the quickjoin feature it works 100% and use the invitation feature, when you found a nice crew.
A lot of this frustrating things are caused through hackers with their mod menu.

Disconnection to singleplayer for example
Are your ports open or do you get the strict nat message ingame?
Maybe that is the reason for you connection-issues.
Ask your SSD producer, if he can solve your ISP-problems
