Reset clothing style in single player

Is there any way to prevent characters from changing the player's chosen clothes in single player? Every time the costumes are reset and it's very annoying. What is the point of clothing stores, why they were added to the game if your characters only wear "their" clothes.

I don't think it's a "reset" of their clothes. They are supposed to wear clothes depending on situations they find themselves in when you take control of them, like different clothes on a strip club visit, different at home (default ones) and so on. You just catch them mostly in their defaults. They actually "live" their lives, when you're not controlling them (switch to the other two guys, or your online character), you know that, do you?

If you actually want them wearing your chosen outfit, make a quick save (from the phone), then, when you switch back to that character from the others (or from your online one), go to menu (P or ESC) >> game >> load game and choose the quicksave file, it will load exactly that spot you saved on, exactly the situation, with clothes of your choice, instead of theirs. It's one more loading, yes, but that way you're continuing from the point you've left that character at.
