I transferred GTA V over to SSD and went from 18 mins to 6 mins load time. Purposely bought a 1 TB SSD for my larger Steam Games, So glad I did. I highly recommend one.

Someone on Reddit last week made a post how a line of code created a bottleneck, and changing that line of code reduced load times upwards of 80%.

Very sad to discover the devs couldn't be bothered fixing such an issue.

Most modmenus have implemented this fix to their online menus.

if you experience load times longer than 3 mins, your computer is at fault.
check your nat and make sure its set to open for gtav.

3 min here after new pc AND better connection, i do think the "infinite loading" is a personal problem, no a r* one.

I found the easy way and short way to get into online, load the base game, start in offline mode, as one of the 3 people in the game then go to online mode from the char option.

Takes me most of the time less than 2 mins to get into gta online

My game takes no longer than about 5-7 minutes to load into online and thats with a HDD. You might be using a potato of a computer.
