Account transfer

Hi guys, I have gta5 on my rockstar launcher but now I wanna have it in my steam library to play for all the achievements on steam. Is it possible to transfer the gta online account from the rockstar launcher to the steam launcher?

Not really a transfer. You can buy the game on steam, and link to the same social club account. That is about it though. You're basically 'using' a pc online character, on a different 'version' of the pc game
Not crossplatform/console.

Is confusing. It mean the ps to pc not is anymore transferable, i not have checked if is changed something now, but on rockstar, pc, to steam, pc, yes(in any cases steam use rockstar too).

Not is crossplatform or crossprogress.

if your game in rockstar launcher was on pc,then the game archive(story mode and online) was saved on your rockstar account so that you could buy a steam version and just log in your rockstar social club account to transfer the archive.(Steam version also needs to download the launcher）all pc ver. are interoperable,but to play on different platforms you must purchase twice.

I purchased this game twice, and if you repurchase this game on Steam all the previous achievements you earned in your R* copy will be given to you since Steam directly fetches achievement data from R*.

Sorry for topic bump. But what about transfering from steam to steam?

I have old steam acc with linked game to it, but i don't really use this one anymore, so i'd like to have old character but on a new steam acc.

Will it work out if i just buy game on new acc and log in in old social club account?

Hi. It should work because you have to log in into your social club account.
When I bought the game on Steam I had to log in on Social Club and i got my account. I played before on Rockstar Launcher.
