Rockstar Games requested my email address to verify my account ownership, which I provided. However, after verification, they denied my request and closed my support ticket. What should I do next?

"Thank you for reaching us back, we are glad to inform you that we have been able to verify the ownership of your account.

However, we can offer two options to proceed to your request.

Option 1: Update Account to a New Email: To proceed with this option, please provide us with a new email address where you would like to update your Rockstar Games account. It's crucial that this new email is not associated with any other Rockstar Games account.

Option 2: Unlink steam The entitlements to play GTAV are tied to both the Rockstar Games and Steam accounts. These accounts must remain linked or you will not be able to play GTAV or GTA Online with either of these accounts.

If we were to unlink your Steam account from your Rockstar Games account, you will not be able to play GTA Online as well as GTAV with your Rockstar Games account, even if another Steam account is linked to it afterwards.

However, if you would still like to proceed with the Steam unlink, please get back to us with the following information:

The Rockstar Games nickname you don’t want to be linked to Steam anymore.
Screenshot showing you logged into Steam, with your Steam Profile name and Steam ID64.
The Steam ID64 typed into the text body of the request.
Sign in to Steam

Click on your Steam Profile name at the top right corner of the window and select “Account Details.

Copy and paste the Steam ID64 in your reply 4. Confirmation that you understand that unlinking the accounts will result in being unable to play GTA Online as well as GTAV with either of these accounts.

Unlinking the accounts will also result in losing progress made on Red Dead Online. When replying, please reply through your email instead of through the Support site.

Once we have this information, we can continue with your request. We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation during this process.

Once we get this information, we can proceed to restore access to your account.

after that i give a new email address, but ( i created this account to contact them) so they reply

Your Email address is Already exist.

In order to proceed with the changes, we want you to provide new Email address which is not associated to any other Rockstar account.

(Note : requires fresh Email which is not Exist in any other Rockstar account)

Once we received the above information we look into the possible resolution.

I`m going through the same effing crap, ya jump through one hoop, and then when they reply, they give you another hoop to jump through, I think the support team live in a circus tent because they are all freakin CLOWNS!

Welcome to avoidance support. This is how Rockstar works. You've played Hoop Jumping Simulator for free!

Their hope is you get frustrated to the point that you quit trying and repurchase the game. Don't fall for it. Just move on and find something else to play.

Just create new ticket. Or better use live chat. Login with alt account and use this option for example (doesn't mater if your issue doesn't match), pick "submit chat ticket" https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/200013306?step=ec1acf27
