Error popping up when launching the Story Mode or Online mode on GTA 5

When I launch the game it goes to the main menu and when clicked on story mode or online it is giving me an error stating ERR_FIL_PACK_3 "Corrupt game data. Please reboot, verify the game data, or reinstall the game. For more information please visit http://rsg.ms/verify"

Can anybody help me how an I fix this issue?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice as of now....

Using mods for storymode? Uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't guarantee they are gone.
Got a 'mods' folder in your gta5 game folder? Rename it -old, and try loading without it.

I don't have any Mods not sure what would be the file name can you please help me with the name of the file that I would have to rename?

Let's see a screenshot of the game folder contents then. Or, no files called openiv? scripthook? dinput8.dll? Though I guess, I have to additionally state that some users in the past have also said 'no' to all of this - but actually had a second steam/game copy/library on their pc and that was.. the real one - with said files/issues/etc.

That error is usually related to modded or 'corrupt' game files. You could try verifying the game files - but... you've reinstalled twice they 'should' be not corrupt. Rightclick the game in steam, properties, installed files, verify game files, and see if it fixes anything.

Else, we get into possible drive issues, permission issues, download issues, potentially memory issues.. and some other things. Got to start somewhere.
