Stone hatchet challenge

I have 51 kills but it didn't unlock. I loaded up RDR2 and I don't have the hatchet. I just have a tomahawk which I already had ages ago.
Also I have 79 kills with the Double-Action Revolver. And it didn't unlock the weapon in RDR2 either.

I have linked GTA V to Rockstar launcher. I have the game on epic. And according my account settings:

So why didn't it unlock?
Yes I have RDR2 linked to social club too.

Ok an update. I think I saw a message pop up briefly that I had completed the Double-Action Revolver kills requirements tonight when I was playing. I don't know for sure because I was concentrating on the mission I was doing. Why is it important messages like that vanish quickly but all the tips stay on screen for much longer. We all know how to do missions by now and how to reload health, armor, etc. Yet those messages keep coming up frequently. But important messages like if we've completed a challenge nah those can vanish in 5 seconds.

I checked my inventory in RDR2 and the stone hatchet isn't there. Neither is the Double-Action Revolver. Where do they get put in the game?

I don't think it unlocks across games like that for PC. It is supposed to work for xbux and PS tho....you did'nt specify. Am I wrong??

He probably picked free version of GTA V on Epic Game Store .

If your Social Club account is connected/linked, i mean features GTA V and RDR2, just play RDR2 on same account.

Double Action Revolver requires 50 Headshots to unlock for RDR2's story mode. After you completed RDR2's chapter, where freeroam finally gets unlocked first time, weapon will be added on your inventory.

While the Hatchet requires 25 kills, then:

Like with all unique hatchets, the player should be warned that they must catch the hatchet back every time after throwing it, as it is not restored automatically to the Weapons Wheel like the other main weapons when it is dropped on the ground, which means if they don't recover it, they risk losing it for the rest of the game.

Yes. If you read my initial post I mentioned that...

Yes I did specify. In any case both games are on the same Rockstar account. I know because when I open the Rockstar launcher for GTA V the button says play on epic. For RDR 2 it says play on Steam. Why wouldn't it work across platforms like that? They're both PC launchers.

Yea I know. I said I already have the required kills. Did you even read my post? Because it seems like you didn't and you just posted redundant info that I already know. Except for the bit about having to catch it back.

So I have to go collect it? I thought it would be in my inventory automatically...

I checked notifications. But it only shows for the current session. It didn't show it.

You know there's a thing called don't make me tap the sign in Simpsons. We read, and saying that are you really sure about that. *sighs*

So yeah, unlike revolver, you need to find the Hatchet and don't forget that item can get lost forever.

Got a response from Rockstar support:

"Please note that the Stone Hatcher and Golden Double Action revolver awarded for completing the respective challenges are only obtainable in Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode and cannot be accessed in Red Dead Online."

So I have to go back to SP to get them.

They've also made the necessary changes so they will be reflected on next log in.

Most of those weapons don't randomly appear in your inventory. you must go to specific locations to collect them, even if you already "unlocked'.

And yeah, only Lowry's navy is available in online, which again, needs to be picked up from killer's "basement".
