the GTA world demands a male character
GTA has always been a male-dominated world. now that they have introduced a female protagonist in GTA VI, i'm curious to see if you still have to pay for lap dances and other services at the night clubs, or if as a female character, you get to service the guys and get paid instead.

I couldn't care less about story mode this time as it is set in a degenerate-filled hell-hole in the tik tock age and that sounds like it'd be real difficult to get immersed in it. I only care about mods and the sandbox elements anyway.

it's not that deep, i know we have male and female protagonists. what i mean is, as the male character, when you visit night clubs, you pay to see women dance naked for you. so is it the same for the female character? or is it the other way around, where she become pole dancer and gets paid instead.

yeah, there was this GTA V mod that turns Michael and Trevor into girls, so i gave it a try. but after like 5 minutes i got over it. i just didn't feel like playing as woman in that crazy world. GTA is all about stealing cars, shooting cops, and blowing stuff up. it just doesn't feel right playing as a woman.

The story in GTA 5 was a 10/10, the MP it UTTER trash. Cant believe people are still playing this garbage multiplayer and never even touched the story. Shows their mental decay.

Wrong. GTA 1 +2 had also female protagonists already - almost 30 years ago.
So nothing new

yeah, ig its a great place to escape reality and create their ideal selves. it's a form of escapism. i see real life drama play outs, gang clashing and couples breaking up. lol

FWIW, I have a female character in GTA Online, and it's no different - you can hire a hooker, and she rides you as if you're a guy. Hopefully they implement something a little better than that...

Or they could not allow you to partake in such activities at all if it doesn't fit the character's personality, like Arthur in Red Dead Redemption II.

that would make Lucia or any other female character a transgender. they should do stuff that's specific to their gender.

Like GTA V, we got Franklin, Michael and Trevor, in VI we have Lucia and whatshisname and you'll be able to switch between them either manually just like in previous game, or during certain points in the story. So no, there's no "strickly female character now", there are two protagonists of which one happens to be female. A big deal, really.

ma'am, i'm all for diversity but i'm a guy and i want to play as a guy with no gender beniding forced upon me, that's a major no-no. a woman stealing cars, blasting away at rival gangs and blowing up the whole city, and enjoy all the manly things might not be the most realistic or empowered portrayal of a female character. it's important to strike a balance between diversity and authenticity, this isn't some Nicki Minaj music video.

Oh yes a "whaman belongs to the kitchen" trope. XD
Actually there are female soldiers in the world fighting for all people, so a woman shooting at gangs, stealing cars and blowing up the whole city is possible, it's not unrealistic, it's just depending on the woman's background. There are street gangs, with female gang members in real life, and even in the previous GTA game(s), if you hadn't noticed. So it's not like Lucia would be a snowflake, she's of a hispanic lineage, those are temperament, from the trailers she seems like a tough gurl. And she has a tracking device on her ankle, implying she had some trouble with the law previously, so she's definitely not that "kitchen type", more like a "bad gurl" type.
The game's not out yet, so we have no info on how the transition between both protagonists will play out, but given the recent history with R*, I'd think it won't be much different from the 3 protagonists of GTA V. Meaning you'll be able to play as the guy most the time and swich to Lucia only during some missions, or you could switch to her at any time outside of missions. The important word here is "could". So it will be an option. An option you don't have to use, if you don't want. So you'll be "forced" to use her only during certain essential missions during the story. No more, no less. At least that's my guess. We'll have to wait till the game releases.
