Can I disable or override BattlEye?

This Battleye thing is extremely frustrating. I, myself, have not done any modding on GTA Online, but I think a lot of the antics of modders can be quite entertaining. In fact, it's one of the reasons I moved from console to PC - I saw a lot of YouTube videos of modders doing silly things and I wanted to be part of it. And if it ever gets to be too much you can always just change servers.

It's an old game and has long since become a boring and monotonous grind-fest. Modders were making it endlessly fresh and inventive. To lock all of that out has sapped most of the charm of the game, to me.

Just like I hate chat moderators and wish they would all get arthritis so they can't type anymore, I have no interest at all in having some third party tell me what is and isn't "fair" in-game, as if I'm not perfectly capable of determining that for myself! It's bad enough that you can't send any four-letter word in messages to other players, as if the game itself isn't full of copious F-bombs and other off-color language (#hypocrisy). It's just one more manifestation of the fascist police state.

Is there any way to disable BattlEye for online and not just story mode? Or is there a workaround? Because right now I feel no more motivation to play the game anymore.

You're in bad luck. Sorry. But no, there isn't a way. Either disable/ignore BE, but play Story Mode, or play Online but with BE. There's no legal way around it.

Then I just won't play anymore. And if GTA VI has the same thing I won't be buying it.

Here's something I have to disagree with you on. See, the language and behaviour of the in game characters, that's the thug life of the streets, that the game depicts (I mean it's exaggerated anyway, but since it's about gang life, then ...), while players "roleplaying" stuff, that they aren't and never will be, is jut ... stupid, outright dumb. All those wannabe 12 years old gangstas, who know the street life ... like yea, sure. The language filter does make sense. You don't have to agree with it, but you have to understand it. It's not the same to allow game's characters talking crap, while restricting human players from doing the same.

Um, excuse me, but the game is rated MA; 12yos shouldn't even be playing this game. I mean if that's the concern, how about a BattlEye-type overlay that prevents THAT? Instead of policing adults like they're 12yos!

Well you are in luck then, as it is not a 3rd party telling you
It is the 1st party, the one who invented the game, the only one who can dictate what is fair and what is not and how things should work.

BattlEye is a 3rd party, after-market add-on product NOT developed NOR operated by Rockstar.

since battleye no one is going online with a cheat menu if they care about their account, only ones using menus are using throwaway accounts and exploding lobbies/sessions

after watching what gta v and rdr2 turned into after release, I'm not buying gta vi or rdr1. they've taken enough of my money, I can't support this company anymore

To resume it, you want to mess with people by using mod menus.

You also are asking to the victims to jump themselves from one server to another, if they are not happy to be your victims.
