Rockstar: The World's Most Patient Game Developer (when it comes to PC release)
the continued neglect of the PC market by Rockstar is a perplexing trend while console players enjoy timely releases and updates, is it really that difficult to prioritize a fair and equitable release strategy for all platforms? despite the success of GTA online and biggest sale on PC only, if it wasn't for GTA fans pushing them we might still be waiting for a new GTA, maybe even until the 2030. they were probably thinking 'why bother making a new game when we milk tf out from a big tiddy cow called GTA V Online?' the only thing milking more abundantly than a cash cow is the patience of PC GTA fans...9 years...that's how long it took Rockstar to realize that maybe, just maybe, PC players might enjoy playing the GTA V Online without being constantly harassed by cheaters. again, Rockstar's playbook is as predictable as the sunrise: console first, PC later. it's a strategy that's worked wonders for them, specially when you consider the 14 year wait of Red Dead Redemption on PC...can't wait to play GTA VI on my great grandkid's VR headsets.

What is even more funnier is they releasing RDR 2 console port on pc end of the month for 49.99€ , you can play it in 4 K now yepii and some other minor stuff , but it is still rdr 2 that people played for years before this on PC . They milk absolutely every game they have , they have not released anything good for a while .

Rockstar will have no one but themselves to blame if it the wait backfires. It's a completely different market than it was in 2013 and 2019.

Red Dead Redemption is a 7th gen game released 14 years ago, now it's minimum system requirement is a gtx 960, a graphic card that came out 5 years after it's release. gears 5 released 9 years later, only required gtx 760, and it was 8th gen game.

to add...Rockstar's business tactic is nothing short of a scam, and insult to PC players. they release a game first on consoles knowing full well that PC players will be salivating at the chance to experience it also on their preferred hardware (PC), so instead, Rockstar teases them with years of wait which forcing them to purchase the game twice. and even when the PC version finally arrives, it's a half baked dog food filled with countless loads of bugs and glitches, another insult, and no, they're aren't done with the insults, not yet, to add another insult to injury, comes the release of "remastered" or "enhanced" editions of the same game. same game with a few minor improvements, and they are often priced as full retail games, forcing PC players to pay for the same content multiple times for over years...literally selling you the same game 3 or more times. so when you're buying a Rockstar game, you're not just buying a game, no, you're investing in a long term relationship with a master harder company that will continue to milk you for all your worth, cause simply put, they only see you as a big milky udder, a Friesian cash cow, not a human being who enjoys playing their games on PC.

...evidently, you can see that Rockstar is obviously console and secretly a Playstation fanboy. explain God of War Ragnarok, a Sony exclusive, developed by a relatively small studio of 200-300 people, being ported to PC just a year after its initial release, meanwhile a massive company with 7k employees and seemingly endless resources and wealth, that can buy Tajikistan twice, took them 14 years to port RDR to PC, 9 years to add anti-cheat, and then GTA VI, with the earliest estimate putting its release date in 2027...or even 2030.

"when gta 5 came to pc" it came 2 years after it's initial console release, and why write first person in capital? there are countless other indie FPS titles with better gunplay than GTA V like a mod first person view rather than a genuine FPS experience. and what updates, do you mean k&m support? wait, that's crazy.
