Open wheel is removed to make place (???) for the Halloween Event mode, which is a survival thing. Not really my thing, as I prefer to play Open Wheel. But alas, it's gone. :-/

Lets hope it returns after the Halloween event but I have an iffy feeling about this whole thing. And not quite happy Open wheel had to be removed for this Halloween stuff.

Yeah they have some idiots running updates/changes for gtao for the past few years. They've even removed some iconic races like criminal records etc. Or those new transform races that came out only 1 update ago and were available only for a few months. Like wtf?

Btw they have removed them couple months ago, so I doubt it relates to this new event.. They just have this idea that keeping limited amount of jobs "improves" matchmaking, while people simply can't even play jobs they like.

I just decided to get back into GTA Online, only to find out that they recently removed one of things I loved the most :(

STILL nothing. There are a couple of well-made community offerings, but I just want all OWR to return soon. Hell, even Hotring is gone still (I think), and that was my second favourite. My third fav with friends was OG Sumo and even THAT is gone! What gives?
