Rockstar needs to fix this battleye issue

everytime i join gta online it says battleye needs an update and yet there is no active way to update it this has not only been happening to me but to many other players aswell.

Yeah there's a couple of threads about it, I have had the issue since yesterday afternoon. You can still play in private sessions though it seems to only do it on public sessions.

it has to be multiple people doing it because i changed IPs and it worked for about 20 min. then I got kicked with the exact same message again. I refuse to buy or play GTA6. in fact I 'm so over it I'm about to boycott them. they have had plenty of time to get their act together on this.

I keep getting this as well; I came from Xbox GTA V...and not once did I have this problem.

This is totally messed up. I just started playing this game. I finished the story and now I cannot even enjoy the online version? Seriously, they need to get it together!

Yup sure suck I play online now more than 10 mins before message pops up and killed my game.

So they ask for a bloody IP address? That doesn't sound sus at all..... -.- If anything GTA aka Rockstar should AUTOMATICALLY have your IP address once you sign up for the online...and enter the GTA Online already. I tried installing the app....but as soon as I did a black screen popped up...and when I selected start new...then it pops up to put in my IP address....um no that right there sounds like a scam...and people hacking into our computers. It is GTA's responsibility to keep track of the modders/cheaters/hackers, it is their responsibility to keep track of our IP address, it is their responsibility to make the game feel safe without having to worry about any type of hackers/cheaters, and it is their responsibility to fix the damn game. This is why I wished they focused more on Red Dead Online for the fact the game is beautiful, the story both offline/online of Red Dead is great, and plus the characters look decent compared to the GTA characters; Like I feel the women customization looks so much better in Red Dead for the fact Rockstar actually made the women not look like men to the face compared to GTA. Don't get me wrong I love GTA....but it seems like they are to focused on putting bank into their wallets rather hearing out the consumers.

the problem as well is that gamers keep paying for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and excuse themselves from being responsible for what they put their money into collectively as a whole. all games wuold need to literally burn their consoles and pc's in protest to enact change that wuold actually benefit the consumer
