Battle Eye is bugging out

I start up my game, go to Online and I get a message saying Battle Eye has to update so press B to cancel or press A to restart. I restart and I consistently still keep getting this message. i did a sell mission, time to restart. Set up a heist, time to restart, I got kileld by a player and seconds away from getting payback, time to restart. What is Battle Eye doing? It literally wasted 3 hours of my day consistently doing this. I tried manually upddating it but Rockstar's launcher is not opening. It keeps saying the game needs to be exited and GTA 5 is still on in task manager even after ending task. Why is everything just not working as intended?
