BATTLEYE UPDATE

When I play the game, sometimes game will pops up battleye need to update. But it doesn't have any update at steam or GTA open. How can I fix this problem?

It only happens on GTA Online public lobbies for me. I'm guessing it's a modder doing it. It's not like battle eye stops cheating anyway.

been having this issue all day and so have some friends.

if you go back when the alert appears it takes you straight to Campaign but if you try and join online again the game still says Battleye needs an update so im not sure if its just modders or hackers

Ok, so I believe it has to do with hackers. I was playing in a public lobby and at least one guy was blatantly cheating. Before I encountered this guy the game had no issues. But as soon as this dude comes in the game just kicks me with that battleye junk. Possible their cheating is causing your battleye to mess up.

Yeah the game is pretty much unplayable online right now. I would suggest to submit a ticket to Battleye here.. also Rockstar games. The more these issues are reported officially the more this will actually get fixed. This thread will not do much for now..

I just bought it and cant even create a character, client givesthis at creation time and them CTD and char info not saved.

Also Been having the same issue for the last several hours. Almost unplayable. submitted a complaint to battleye

I just started getting this same message today, I can log in and start playing and about 2-10 sec in to the game it says BE needs update. Even after restarting and updating everything.

Yeah, Im probably going to refund if its not fixed in the next few hours. Takes 6 minutes off my trial period every attempt so 3-4 more attempts at most.

it's asked me to update and restart , i restarted it , now it's saying entering online from the past 30 mins
