guards hate this one simple trick!! lolol
one time i took the guard by the main airfield hangar and i hid him underneath a jeep and it worked xD
across from the hangar theres a small shed behind the walls with one guard and a camera, i shoot that guard and shoot the camera and then can access the shed, this is the same spot as one of the radars in assault on cayo perico
the rest of the island is pointless, just do airfield and main house, or you can optionally add in the coastal loot at main dock
i meant to say where the radar used to be with the one guard one camera, 2nd floor walk up balcony, two guards staring into each others eyes longingly, the soft sound of jimmy buffet playing on a shortwave radio in the background as the massive clouds drift by
inside the mansion any dead body will trigger the alarm after getting the main target.
Its just the way I used to do it. My method depended on the secondaries and where they were placed. Primary didn't matter to me. At least in terms of, I was just as happy to get the tequila as I would be to get the panther statue. I would ask myself these questions first:
~Can I expect one of my homies to join me?
~Are there at least 3 tables of gold?
If the answer to either of those was a no. Then I would ask myself:
~Are there two paintings in the office?
If the answer to the prior two, or to the latter question was yes, Then I would take the submarine entrance. After emerging from that....idk I guess its a shed or closet or something. There is a guard at the top of stairs to the left. Kill him. Essentially there was a path I could take from that entry point to the front gate without being seen. I would take out 4 to 6 guards. This would give me the cellar gate keys and at least 1 key card. I would fill up on secondaries and then go grab the primary and exit through the front gate. I would take the main road up the first intersection and make a dash for the beach from there. From there, I would swim underwater out of site of boats and the helicopter all the way to the airstrip and use the plane. Its either by the hangar or its at some mid way point. I would also make sure to disable the anti air systems before I would even think about touching the plane.
If the answer to all three questions was a no, then I would search for secondaries placing priority on art (compound main office only, this is a solo run). If the art is not in the office then I would search for coke spawns. If they are either not present or in bad spots I would look for weed. If they are in bad spots I would look for cash. Before doing any of that I would locate the generator, kill the power, kill the anti air systems, locate guard uniforms, and the supply truck assuming it wasn't by the front gate when I scoped it out. If it was I use the grappling hooks. I use the similar method listed above to gain access to the cellar and my escape remains the same.
Regardless of my method I would use the sniper loadout with suppressors. I wasn't murder happy, but I did kill any guards in my way that could spot me. I would also do all three of the optional prep missions as well. Make sure the guards had no armor, ♥♥♥♥ weapons, and no helos. I would also spike the water. I have seen that this affects their aim (should bullets go flying) and it also makes them take longer to notice and it makes them hesitate before shooting and sounding alarm.
So what do I do if the guard truck is on patrol/at front gate? Well then my approach is a matter of rolling the dice. I don't enjoy rushing, using meta, or watching people on youtube. Its more fun to me to take my own routes. Or at least it was before R* ruined the heist by making guards see dead bodies. I would have rather them either make the heist payout less or even make the tequila a more common spawn. But them seeing the dead bodies completely shafts my earlier method. Last time I did the heist was before the change. My buddy and I even managed to meet the time challenge as well as the other post heist objective things.
Has there been any heists added after cayo?
cluckin bell..
fyi the two paintings are the worst loot, look at how much is in the bag pre main.. its about 340,000.......... even full weed bag is 360,000............ one painting which is 50% bagspace equals about 179000 $
I play solo, and my scout approach usualy is: check hangar, near hangar, outfit near hangar, outfit near fishing stuff, loot north of the radar tower. Then check if there is art. In 80% games usually it is enough BUT if I still need secondaries I will para drop and check the closest port. 200% should be something in total.
Then the heist. Plane approach. Take everything valuable BUT the port location (cuz there are some dudes you have to shoot). You can shoot some dudes near hangar (can't remember if there are any) so they won't alert on lock breaking. Go grab some stuff near radar tower if still need. Then pipe entrance. Just drive on a car into the water (watch out for boats lol).
Inside compound. Just go left and straight into mr Rubio house mid path lmao. There will be a single dude you have to wait a bit and near the stairs some another dude I usually bonk. Another dude on stairs can simply be ignored and walk passed. Then rob mr. Rubio safe, it is important, we are greedy.
After primary. Exit same way, just run pass closed gates, there will be huge entrance and walk pass it. Don't forget to c4 mr. Rubios car during cutscene loading, you won't get any alert (at least I didn't 1 year ago lol). Then, if you still need secondaries go port and shoot stuff near it (there are like few dudes). Easy stealth, should be around 11-14 minutes depending on your luck/speed. So, elite challenge.
Yes, as you may noticed, no weap/armor/water disruptions. I did kinda same way with every approach and everything worked fine, just kinda slower and annoying to do preparations.
Idk if it was after (99% sure it was after) but auto shop undeground bank heist is kinda fast and gets some good $$. Preps and heist in total around 20 minutes.
