Melle attacks on bikes won't work for me?!

I know you have to hold the duck button with the handbrake or aim button but it will not work with me. Can somebody help?

Keyboard, X. Unless I changed it, but I do not really use it so likely X.
On a PC, you can perform melee actions on a motorbike by:
Holding X
Clicking the left or right mouse button

Console
To perform a kick in Grand Theft Auto V on an Xbox One console while riding a motorbike, you can:
Hold A
Tap LB or RB
If you don't have a weapon equipped, your character will kick with their feet.

To perform melee actions on a motorbike in Grand Theft Auto V on a PS4 console, you can:
Hold X
Tap L1 or R1

I remember being able to do it with my MP online but when I try it with Franklin it will not work

That is odd, I kicked the reporter off the bike using Franklin not 2 days ago. Killed him... tried again, he died again, tried again but shot the back tire and he fell off and died again but that was in story mode. That was one paparazzo that was too fragile. Did not have ability activated at the time. I also kicked Michael's son while racing bikes on the pier... tried several outcomes there as well.
