GTA V Social club account

Hi guys!

I was wondering if somebody could help me out; I started playing GTA V on Steam a couple of months ago and yesterday I wanted to do something connected with my Social club account and I really can´t remember if I already connected my GTA V to a social club account. Is it possible to find out if I am already connected or to which account I am connected to?

Your gtav is most certainly connected to your/a social club account if you can play. If you log in, it will tell you which username. If you mean email, login credentials, or something else - you need to be more specific (or check your emails, or forgot password and test your emails).

And in case you'd rather just go to R* -
1-Submit an email ticket without needing to log into social club -
(and deal with potential confusion / lack of detail / copy pasta, response delay)

2-Create a throwaway social club account to contact them with livechat and talk with someone that can actually help you get answers or fix the problem. The option does occasionally move/float around in the help options. This is where I regularly find it -

(you must log in with an account to access it) - usually super fast (under 1 min atm).

3-They also have phone callbacks but have not tested that. (also needs login/new acc)

Multiple ways to skin this one (besides keeping record of login credentials 'in some form' -.-).

If you're able to log in into Social Club (some people forget their passwords & stuff, just making sure), then you should be able to see all your linked accounts, like in my case there's Steam of course, then PSN (I'm an old PS3 player) and Facebook (have no idea why I linked it, but don't really care about it anyway, oh probably from the old PS3 days, there was such feature I guess). So check that there.

And what he said, your Social Club is linked to GTA V automatically, it's a requirement to be able to play the game in the first place.

The thing is I cannot get into my Rockstar Social club account? Can I somehow figure out from my GTA ingame Social club account how to get into my Rockstar Social club account?

If you already played it, it's definetely connected to SC.
So all you need to do is visiting https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/ and retreive a new PW if you've got forgotten yours.
After you got it, use it to log into SC launcher. You game should run after this.

If this doesn't work, you need to contact R* support.

From what I've got, he can log into the game, he's able to play and the game memorized the password, he can't log into the internet Social Club (SC in the browser), because it's him, who forgot the password, not the game (I have a similar deal with Mozilla, browser remembers everything so I don't have to XD).

If you bought the game on steam you nickname on steam is also your nickname in R* games.
But to log in there or retreiving you PW you need the email adress you registered SC with.

Ok, you actually can see all your linked accounts in the game, when you're in Story Mode (should work in Online too, but you may get kicked out for AFK), press "home", then the cogwheel next to your SC name, go to "settings" and there is a tab, that reads "privacy", there at the top all your linked accounts.

Yes, but the problem is that I don't remember the email address I used for the social club account. I tried the email address I'm using for Steam and it didn't work. Is it possible to find out which address I used?

Your ingame name is your SC nickname, not steam..

If he's the guy I'm watching right now, he's got several R* accounts, So I assume he just lost overview.
but your last hint should work for him figuring out which account this game is currently connected to.

Try out all email adresses you might have used and send a PW retreiving request on them.
then check your mail accounts and look on which R* SC responded.
If you have several accs, then It's getting a bit tricky.

But if your game starts and connects to SC you might also try pressing "Pos1" on your keyboard in order to get into social club. Maybe you might find some infos helping you there in your account info.
