R* aged Franklin too much (Potential Spoilers)

My first thought when I saw Franklin in the new DLC was "Oh cool, they aged him to make it current." This was immediately followed by: "Damn, Franklin was born in Nov, 1988?!? So he's 9 years younger than me and has more grey hair?"

I appreciate R* aging their characters, and finally giving us a conclusive definition of where GTA Online compares to the GTA5 story line chronologically, but damn! Franklin looks 60..

Chop would be a senior K9 by now, so their aging there was probably more accurate than Franklin's.. and understanding this made it difficult to watch Chop roll around on ground during one of the early cutscenes

Some people's hair starts turning grey unusually early. One example - Rob Lowe, a Hollywood actor, says it happened to him at just 24.

Franklin looked a lot older than 25 in 2013.

I remember when I first played the game I thought he was at least in his mid thirties. Some people just look older or younger than the average. He's had to hustle to get to where he is, and stress and your economic background play a role in how you'll age physically. It's just not talked about enough.

It's also not unusual for someone in their thirties to start to get grey hair.

what "new dlc"? story mode doesn't have any dlc

It's online only. Franklin partners with our online character for a start-up company helping celebrities with problems they have.

Or maybe it's stress related from likely hearing each and every day about possible catastrophic threats both at home and abroad, only a tiny sliver of which the public ever learns about. Job no doubt has many many perks, but also some severe downsides. Also, I bet Palpatine would've aged quickly as Supreme Chancellor even had he not been a Sith lord (though that's how he got the gig).

Edit: After posting my original reply to the thread I had the thought that the situation with Michael and Trevor could've triggered physical changes, again from stress. I also agree with Baby Ghoul in that my read playing Story Mode was that Franklin was closer to 30 or maybe a few years over.

I've seen people in their 20s with lots of gray hair...
it depends on what genes you inherited and what kind of life you've lived so far

Considering Franklin's lifestyle I'm not surprised ^^
I wonder how Trevor would look like today.

When I was in the mid 30s I also had already some grey hair. Also, having black hair like Franklin has, you see them much earlier ;-)

Franklin is now married and has goit kids. That might have brought him a lot of grey hairs ;-)
