when playing the new update friends make no money why is that?

when me and my friends do the new missions and jobs for franklin my friend makes no money ? whats the point in a update if my friends get nothing for helping

I just noticed a similar thing, I did a in lobby mission, I earned 50K, my friends only got 2K each, they both quit helping me with my missions....... What gives?

what do you mean also we have also tried switching to mc and still nothing or very little i do know they get paid after so many minuets but only as being a body guard

works same way as the stupid casino missions only the host gets the payout. I guess its to keep people who dont buy into the content from making money off it

Yeah well, that's just how it is.
You, as the leader / owner of the business takes profit.
Your friends helping you are only paid through SecuroServ for assisting / protecting you.
Which is significantly less than yours.
If you die while they are working for you as body guards, their payment decreases.
Longer you play together, more payment they will receive.
I think you can manually set the initial money they'll be paid which if you increase it, the amount will be withdrawn from your own money. But don't quote me on that.

What do you mean, it pays quite a lot if you play long enough and it's a useful feature that helps low rank players grind easily. They really don't need to do anything, they can just stay in office all day while their CEO do stuff and money will keep in coming.

Also some businesses like CEO or MC cannot be done solo (technically you can but it's very inefficient and risky.) so friends help out as associates, then they just rotate until everyone has finished their business missions.

Something like Casino heists, you help with setups so that you might do finale together.

Associates / body guards are not meant for grinding in the first place.
It's there to help other players, but with some income.

simply pay them with something else...
could offer 1 perico for helping with the missions
while everything can be soloed in the dlc so there is no need to request any help in the first place, except you like to enjoy content together

R* simply handled most of these missions as contact missions or simply prep work.
did you got paid for casino heist preps... but you helped anyway while knowing there is some gold at the end of the rainbow

looks like only "the don't mess with dre" mission pays a little bit better, 50k for the clients
There is also one award for playing all mission as client which grants 100k
so yeah it underwhelming if you want to boost your friends through the new content, but there are enough other options available to do this. casino, doomsday and cayo...

Yeah and once you have enough money to do anything and own every business in game, you really don't have a lot of things to do so you tend to help other players, either friends or randoms, with their stuff. Which is fun, actually.

the whole CEO payouts are severely lackluster and flawed anyway, it needs doubling or atleast 15k per payout.

the seedcapital missions aka shortrips pay better where you play as franklin and lamar, 50k for the client
which are unlocked after finishing the contract

Maybe because this update it's no heist but contract missions.
There's no loot to distribute

So they do get money but only the regular CEO / MC payout
