Some tips for a 1 hour setup/heist total time SOLO.

In the scope mission all you need to find is the tunnel entrance and the main dock exit one time. That's the best entrance and exit from the heist. After scoping those one time you don't have to scope anything else on the next runs. Just rush to the communication tower. There's some videos showing a fast route to there using a bike.

You don't have to scope for secondary targets, they will always spawn at the same places even if you don't scope. The only three secondary targets that you have to worry about are the ones near the main dock that you can enter solo, which is the best escape route and they will always fill your bag before the escape. Memorize where they are and don't waste time scoping for them.

When viewing the cameras in the scope out, go right 3 times to get to the basement camera, see the objective and close the phone. Then get caught by a guard or suicide to be teleported to the entrance and get out of the island.

If you do the torch prep, you don't have to do the explosives prep. That shaves off one mission and let's you complete the setup with only 5 missions (torch, fingerprint, plasma, guns, kosatka).

When you get back from the scope out mission, go to Vespuchi Beach and spawn your submarine. Do all preps from this location (except the vehicle prep) since its the closest to all preps. At the end, start the vehicle prep (kosatka) and fast travel your sub near it, after fast travel I like to drive the submarine near the mission and take out the 3 boats and helicopter with the sub's missiles for a safe exit (not the guided ones, the regular missiles).

If you get the merrywheter gun prep, restart or change your session to get the office gun prep, it's faster.

Do all preps in a invite only session so you don't have to deal with griefers.

You don't have to do any of the optional preps.

The Sparrow is really useful since it's stored in the sub. Get it for effective time.

Create a effective route in the compound to get to the office and out of the island by the main dock.

You don't have to use the marked boat to escape from the main dock. There's some boats to the left side of the dock that you can use and you will have to kill less enemies to exit with them undetected.

In the office at the compound there's a hidden safe in the wall with some money that doesn't waste bag space. Also at the office, there can spawn some artwork to fill your bag early on, which allows you to ignore the secondary targets at the main dock.

Okay good thank you for sharing your thoughts. Question but is it possible to do the exploit to climb on the jeep to go over on the fence to go inside the compound? Because I still can't find a way get inside.

Don't know.
When you use the tunnel entrance with the submarine you enter the heist already inside the compound.

You only need to swim until you get behind the compound and go underwater. Once you scop the sewer entrance you can do the blow torch as a prep mission on the sub.

the cutting torch is a prep mission at a construction site.
you need to find the drainage tunnel first though when you scope out perico island.
submarine entry is pretty cool.

lower part of the map and around the coast.
if in doubt just swim under water all around the island and as close to the island edges as possible. its kinda hard to spot, but should auto trigger dialogue when you get close to it. swim through the underwater mine clusters.

I just did this mission for the first time, and got sighted by a guard right as I went around a corner. Almost got him before he sounded the alarm regardless, but alas.

The end result was that everyone ended up chasing after me and an attack helicopter got sent after me (.. I killed all 10 helicopters in the prep mission). When the helicopter showed up I kinda panicked and just took a dive off a cliff into the water.

They sent boats and the helicopter after me, but after diving down deep they couldn't do anything to me at all. I was going to ever so slowly swim my way to the other end of the map and get back on the sub (which I assume moved to the northern part after dropping me off?).. but the game ended up just ending the heist as I was swimming.

The cutscene started up after that with me walking into the party in full scuba gear, which was sorta silly. Apparently just swimming off the map is a viable exit strategy in a pinch.

Yes, you can swim out of the island, but it's better to fill your bag in the main dock (extra money and elite challenge bonus) and exit with a boat.

I only have spotted on the airfield and main dock but all I get is $1.4M without fencing fee.

In the compound office there's a hidden safe with random cash that doesn't waste bag space.
Elite Challenge on Hard Mode gives an extra 100k,
The spots for solo players on the main dock should be used to fill your bag.

I play on a notebook from 2017 with a i5-8250U and a GeForce 930MX.
My average time for the finale is 10 minutes.
It goes from 9 to 11 minutes depending on how many secondary spots I have to go to fill the bag.

The Elite Challenge 15 minute limit is very forgiving if you know what you are doing, specially if you use the Kosatka's tunnel entrance to the heist.

Just wanted to bump this since it's quite helpful, and also confirm there's no way to escape the compound stealthily? It seems no matter what I do, my cover is blown as soon as I get a certain distance from the gates.

So, if that's the case, my solo method would be to start at the North Docks and grab the secondary loot (Main Dock loot can only be taken with an accomplice to hold the door, if I'm not mistaken), swim to the compound and enter via the Drainage Pipe, and them escape via the Main Dock since it's the closest exit. That way, you've already collected everything when your cover is blown and all that's left is to escape, right? I know this would take longer since swimming is slow, but it just seems easier to me to grab loot while you're not under attack.

You absolutely can. Hard to give suggestions on how to stay stealthy without having a better idea of what gets you seen, though. Care to elaborate?

The only thing I can think of without more information is that you're talking about El Rubio's helicopter? This does get triggered once you get a certain distance from the gates.

He'll always come looking for you, but if you haven't set off the alarm, he doesn't know exactly where you are; he just flies around trying to find you.

There are four potential loot spots (each with two potential items) at the main dock, only one of which requires two people.

Not that I'm saying going to the north dock is a good idea, but if you did, you could just steal a boat. Swimming all the way to the compound is a waste of time.

I find taking out the guards around the north dock a little tricky, though, and personally, I'd rather just take a motorcycle offroad and jump into the water right next to the outer compound gates, if I absolutely had to make my way from the north.

You can escape fully stealth. You are probably getting caught by something.

The main dock has 3 secondary loot spots.
Only one of them needs a second player, the other two can be entered solo.
There's also a third solo spot close to the main dock, in the buildings to the east.

The most effective/easy route would be tunnel entrance > main dock exit.
If you want to grab the loot before entering the compound, the best route would be main dock entrance > main dock exit.
