is there a "first" mssion or a order of missions in GTA Online?

I'm a new player and all I see is people saying to do the most profitable missions over and over again to get rich quick, but I don't want to get rich quick, so is there any order to playing the missions? Or do I just randomly choose a letter in the map and do it?

There is no story to online you just do whatever missions you want

Theres no order.

The reason people say to get the profitable businesses first, is because then you're only a few missions away from buying whatever you want.

You dont have to grind the same missions 24/7, but u def want the ability to host heists.

Gerald (G), Martin (M) and Simeon (S) missions have always been around and are considered some of the entry level missions in the game.. except for Gerald's "End Product" mission which is a terribly and sadistically designed mission..

I think Vincent (V) heist missions are available pretty much right when you start as is the Ron (R) mission in Sandy Shore to start the Dax First Dose mission chain.

There are some missions that do have a progression order to them, but off the top of my head, only Lamar's Lowrider missions (L) and Dax's First & Last Dose missions come to mind. The penthouse missions for the casino story also flow in a specific order, but those require purchasing the penthouse before you can host them.

The yellow "R" for Ron turns into a yellow "D" for Dax following the end of the first mission.

change that mindset even if you farm millions upon millions quick ( which you probably won't ) there so much stuff to buy with their full upgrades that farming the game without cayo / casino will take much more ton of time to get the stuff u want, overall you should start with the normal heists and own aracade and submarine to host cayo / casino so u can buy all the other stuff to play cause I don't see how you will be able to farm so much money to get the other stuff without grinding those you can buy business that is 5m and not get even 1m out of it's missions
I personally have the time I grind and the time I do the other missions

you get a small 'intro' to grand theft auto online---after you make a Character
you then name your Character

get some more intro, land in SAN ANDREAS, get off the plane, when you get to the car, you get your 1st WEAPON

quick being the keyword there.. if you're looking to enjoy a game, do what you find fun and exciting.. if you're looking for the quick buck, the best thing to do is join heists from your phone's quick jobs menu (it's on the left column, center row; where the #4 button would be on a keypad).

You can queue up for old school heists, the diamond casino heist and even cayo perico heists. Cayo heists may be the most forgiving since a 4 man group of randoms is almost guaranteed to trip guards and set off alarms.. diamond casino that sort of thing is often frowned upon as that could significantly jeopardize the take.. However, the Diamond casino is the most fun IMO.. if you're looking to learn the ropes of the Diamond casino heist, befriend Krem42 and I can show you what's what as long as you can play on the weekend and aren't on the other side of the world (I'm in Pacific Daylight right now).

farming cash by doing casino / cayo again and again can be fun if you change entrances / suits / ways to do the heist and even challenge yourself i think i already done casino heist more then 200 times with the new and old character i deleted years ago and its stil not boring
