Stuck initializing

I know it's always been bad but now it seems like maybe 1 in 10 attempts will work. This is for all og heists and contracts via the quick job menu. Anyone find anything that helps? I've reinstalled, verified game files etc. My internet is 500mb up/down so not sure what else to do or is RS just completely broken now?

Idk if you're in a public lobby or a private one but I do know that if you're in a public lobby if there's a lot of people (like 20-24 ppl) it really bogs down the initializing, hell even some modders make it worse by basically making it so when you go to any cutscene or any initializing it just hangs forever, I've had that plenty of times, my only suggestion is try sticking to just invite or friends only lobbies cause they make loading so so much faster than in public lobbies (plus it seems like pc modders are huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and tend to mess up the whole lobby)

Ya unplugging my cable is what I'm doing to solve that currently but never thought of using the overlay to join a friends session. That's actually a really good workaround, thanks!

It's pretty much the same in either public or invite only, I keep forgetting gta is peer to peer so I bet that probably has a lot to do with it. Anyway agreed on the modders fing it up for the rest of us :)

When you see that happen, go to story mode and back online (if u were the problem, that will fix it.)

When playing heists, just stick to friend only sessions.
