I might be wrong, but have you tried changing other settings to see if they allow you to change grass settings?

For example turning on MSAA allows you to turn on TXAA. Another graphics option lets you change motion blur or something along those lines.

Yeah i thought the same thing. Nothing changing anything works... Ive even gone into my NVidia settings and optimized those for GTA5 and its still frustrating as ♥♥♥♥.

Ignore suggested limits?

Yeah try what Patrick is saying.

But...I would recommend leaving grass at normal. It's actually really demanding especially at night while in a vehicle. Enemies can also see through grass and bushes while you can't. Can screw you over sometimes. I have a GTX 970 and I leave it on normal.

Damn. A 970 cant have that at 60 fps?
Mav Jan 30, 2016 @ 4:44pm
It drops slightly under 60FPS at times...like 57FPS. But when in the city, since there isn't much grass, it stays at 70-80FPS with almost everything else maxed out and x2MSAA.

It looks amazing though. But the performance isn't the issue for me. Its just that...freaking enemies can see through the damn grass and I can't xD
