How do I begin the first heist (jewel store)?

do other stuff - like the letters you see on the map or ? on the map and it will open up - you have to get michael and franklin at michaels house - so basically go as franklyn to michaels -if mikes not home u may have to then change to him and go home -- also i cant remember whether you do the boat retrieval before the heist
