will GTA V ever have mods like GTA SA multiplayer mod?
i remember all these roleplay servers i used to play on GTA SAMP, like you would have to earn money through jobs that are everyday jobs like fishing, selling weed, being a fireman, paramedic, sell pizza etc etc.. A lot like ARMA 3 Altis Life

will this ever be put in GTA V multiplayer you think? all players will be civillians and killing people for no reason would be forbidden, only reason would be if the player tries to rob you and you shoot in self defence etc. and cops would be chosen by admin and players can only be cops if they apply for it, and criminals are put in jail etc etc.. a lot like a real life mod..

?

Doubt it, they are too interested in trying to sell in game currency for real money which is why the game is a grind fest.

Allowing mods just allows people to have as much money as they want.

I don't think Rockstar would ever implement or think of such feature, but I'm sure in time being a user or two would create private servers with such roleplaying abilities.

There is a few that have tried but all have been shut down by Rockstar / Take-Two. Near as I can tell only FIVERP shows any promise but that is looking pretty grim too. The main reason I bought GTAV was because I assumed it would have mod support that the previous versions had. I was hopeful for a few survival mods based on the game as well as the "life" mods but I am doubtful we will ever see this happen now :(

It seems crazy to me that R* will not let this happen. I mean I know they have made their hundreds of millions of dollars already but if you think about it, the potential to sell more copies is there if they would just open up the game. Look at what happened to ARMA II when Dean Hall created the DayZ mod... Bohemia sold more copies of ARMA II just so people could play Dayz than were originally sold of ARMA ever. And as far as the Shark card thing goes I will never understand. They let the hackers/modders/cheaters (whatever you choose to call them) run rampant dumping tens of millions of dollars on almost every player in the game. Why would anybody ever need to buy a shark card when some kid with a mod menu virtually dropped a thousand dollars in shark card money on someone!?!?
Seems counter productive to me Rockstar. Get your ♥♥♥♥ together. After all this crap I will be surprised if PC users of and Rockstar title ever buy one of their games again.
Just my thoughts :)

I search the net a few times a month looking for just this :)
